Replaced a furnace and A/C that were over 20 years old, and the former of which, was on its last legs. First of all, Faheem is a great sales person. He answered my tons of questions and gave me good sound advice. No pressure tactics whatsoever. He laid out a great for me too, and let me take the time to compare the same Lennox equipment against competitors, before I decided to go with Cosmopolitan. Faheem had told me in advance that Cosmopolitan’s technicians may choose to go out the other side of my house with the furnace venting and indeed they did. The techs arrived punctually on a Saturday morning and got the job done efficiently and quickly, consulting me whenever there were options or questions to be answered. The new furnace is working great, and looking forward to also using the A/C this summer. There was a screw up with Cosmopolitan’s registration of my equipment with Lennox as some administrator got my name wrong – tired, I guess. But they’ve promised to fix it, and I trust them. (Need to follow-up with Faheem soon though.)

Last week my old air conditioner gave up. It was so hot we called May companies. The one company which responded to our call quickly was Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services. Sales person EJ visited us for the quote for new AC. He gave us very competitive price. We scheduled the installation for next day. We were surprised that they could do the installation so quickly. Next day right at the given time installer Greg and Dave came to our house for the installation. We had various questions regarding the installing procedures. Dave answered all our questions. He also gave the information about the whole installation procedure. Both guys were very polite. I would thank them for answering all our questions. They finished the job in about 5 hours. After looking at the finished job we can say that these people and good. They started the job on time and finished the job one time. Finally I would say that these people delivered what they promised. Another good thing about cosmopolitan was there after hour service department. After the in stallion we call them late night for some questions regarding the programming of our thermostat. Jeff helped us out over the phone and told us about the procedure of programming the thermostat. At the end I would say the ac they sold me was very quiet. We would love to recommend them to all of our friends. Keep up the good work Cosmo team.

In November 2010 our basement got flooded and our furnace stopped working. We moved to our parent’s house, as we did not have any heating. Our neighbor told us about heating and cooling company location in a nearby mall. We went to South Sheridan mall and found cosmopolitan display location. We met sales person Don at the mall. He was very courteous and polite. He quickly came to our house and looked at our flooded furnace. He told us that because of emergency we could have cosmopolitan technician install a new furnace within 5 hours. We got very surprised and signed the contract for the installation of a new furnace. Don was right about his commitment and we have a heat in our home within five hours. Dealing with cosmopolitan people we felt very comfortable and would use them again for any future needs.

We recently purchased our first home that was over 15 years old and had its original air conditioner and furnace. Therefore after our air conditioner broke down in the summer we weren’t surprised when the furnace went down as well in the winter. Although money is an issue we always prefer to have someone come in and give us correct and true information therefore, after contacting many ac and furnace companies we weren’t expecting much from this company. Boy, were we wrong? Not only did the technician that came in give us truthful information, he also tried to fix the problem without costing us much money. Although when after realizing the problem wasn’t fixable he gave us viable option to purchase a furnace and ac at an affordable price. To top it all off he gave us great financing option so that we wouldn’t get hit with a great burden at once. After liberating they came in and put in both the ac and furnace within one day and we haven’t had a problem since. I truly recommend this company as they know what they’re doing and am honest people. We would definitely do this again, thank you one again Cosmopolitan Mechanical!
